With all the chaos of Christmas’s past, it’s easy to lose sight of the upcoming New Year’s Eve. Luckily, Vowlá is here to give you some tips and tricks to successfully throw together a New Year’s Party for you and your friends.

Dress for the Night

If there is one major trick we have learned from our sister companies ROCKNEVENTS and ROCKNUNIVERSITY, it’s to dress for the event. Not only does it make you feel good, but it also adds something special to the overall look of the event. With how this year turned out, to say that we all dressed down is an understatement. Make you and your guests feel glamorous again and have a “cocktail attire” as your party’s dress code. Have the ladies bring out the heels, the dresses, the red lip, and the gentlemen in slacks and a good suit jacket.

Bring Out the Sparkle

When one thinks of New Year’s Eve, they defiantly think about all of the sparkles. Thankfully, sparkles are fairly easy to come by! Search your house first before you go shopping, as any old art projects are bound to have some glitter. After you search your house, pick up any streamers (could make for a cute photo-opp backdrop), confetti, or sequined pillows. To really bring out the sparkle for your party, don’t forget to bring out some simple tea light candles, like these on Amazon, to reflect the sparkle and really light up your night.

Refresh on the Refreshments

While everyone waits for that magical moment when the New Year arrives, keep them entertained with good food and alcohol. You can’t go wrong with a charcuterie board, some chips, fries, and a veggie or fruit platter. Bring some sweetness in with fun and cozy desserts, such as smores or a mini ice cream bar. Finally, you can’t go wrong with champagne on New Year’s Eve, but you can also shake things up with a cozy and warm drink, such as peppermint spiked hot chocolate.
